Ive been betting for 40 years,some good days,quite a few bad days,trading for around 16 years with similar results.
Around 6 weeks ago I actually found a way of making a regular daily profit,nothing to do with matched betting or bonuses or whatever,just an error i spotted with a large bookies,its no fortune but i probably made around £500 in 6 weeks and around £130 in the last 4 days,with very little downside or risk to what I was doing.
Anyway after making a £50 profit on 1 trade this morning I received a message saying I had been restricted,yes i knew it was probably coming at some point,but how can people say they make a living or thousands when in fact I cant even make a small profit without getting restricted.
I have tried other sites but this particular bookie seems to be the only one that does what I need to make that sort of profit on a daily basis.
Is there anything I can do to get round this,I feel pretty deflated.

i know striding,i thought i might get a couple of months before they stopped me,its just really pathetic.
Dave1357,you know i actually feel like doing that,but at the moment im going to try and find out to what degree im restricted,and also have another look at some other bookies,i did try most of the bigger ones but they didnt have what this company did,saying that even then i would still end up being restricted by them,not sure if there any way i can adapt what im doing to betfair,i can but try. There always the option of trying to sell it,but i dont think id get many takers,they would only make a few hundred before they got stopped anyway. |

if it was an error, and they've restricted you for taking advantage of it. is there not a chance they may also look to correct the error ?

you would think it was something they would do,i suppose its just easier to restrict me.
If i dont get any joy i am literally going to go on everywhere I can and tell people how its done,dont know how much people will get away with but it would be nice to piss them off,its not like i was taking them for thousands. I actually cant believe the error that they are making,its actually quite bad,if it is a human error the person needs to be sacked. |

thanks striding,I love liverpool ive supported them for over 40 years,some amazing days,when i was younger i hated other teams especially man u,but as ive got older ive realised if we play crap we deserve to get beat.
As i said in the thread,just dont think we have been that great this year despite being top,I look at us play sometimes and we just seem to play a similar style to a lot of other teams.Hopefully we can pick things up a bit. It seems ive been restricted to £2 or £3 bets so i can kiss goodbye to £30+ a day,really not sure where to go from here now,im going to get knowhere with this bookies,and will end up the same way with the others i guess,really dissapointed. |

is it likely that you can get unrestricted for example if i went on there for a few weeks and lost?

i cant do that holmesdale1 until i know i have no other options,if i decide i want to screw them up i will,as for selling it,probably knowone would believe me,secondly if someone bought it they would prob only make about £600 before getting restricted.
the thing it is something you need to spend time with as well,im lucky i do night work so spend most of the day on and off the pc.For a lot of people they may not think its worth it. |

you could always change your name by deed poll and then you can prove that you are not the guy that they restricted.

and then if they restrict you a second time you could apply a junction on your civil liberties ,which would get you about 6 grand a month for say a year of compo resulting in a clear profit of £72,000 at least.+ expenses

I dont follow ant tipsters or have any special info or anything like that at all,ive been betting and trading for many years,done ok but nothing special,had an idea that ive tried on and off for a few years,without any great success,however went with an online bookies a month or so ago,and found a way that worked,it was ok and made a little bit of profit,and then realised a way of making a better profit,I looked at other bookies but they just dont seem to offer the same thing,or at least not as good!! I found i could esaily make £10 a day,not amazing but i was happy with £300 a month extra,i realised upping my stake a bit was even better,the last week or so ive had days profit of £102,£90,£40,£41 and made £48 this morning in half hour and thats when I got the message to say I was restricted. Its just so gutting that after all these years they wont let me make a profit. |
