he is the man for the day that  matters, owners had a great day, pockets full, keep their prize money, clients and guests had a ball, that's the name of the game

This won so easily at Stratford, but subsequently hasn't looked the same horse, until today.

Prominent, driven 4 out, soon weakened and lost touch, pulled up before 2 out

Towards rear, ridden before 8th, immediately found nil, tailed off and pulled up 3 out

If anyone thinks that trainers can survive on prize money and training fees, think again. They have got to eat! The secret is in knowing which trainers have to eat more than others.

Race 5 - 2:35pm
THE LPS CONDITIONAL JOCKEYS' HANDICAP HURDLE RACE (CLASS 4) (Qualifier for The Challenger Staying Hurdle Series Final)

The winner, HIS DREAM (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Bangor on Dee on 30 October 2018 where the gelding was pulled up. The explanation given by Jonjo O’Neill’s that the gelding appreciated the step up in trip from 2 miles 7 furlongs to 3 miles 2 furlongs on this occasion was noted. HIS DREAM (IRE) was routine tested. The horrible part of it all was the Parking Services rep wallowing in all the post-race celebrations, saying how much they had won on the day. Then some wag piped up, "your car's just been clamped".  The filthy dregs of society enjoyed their sponsorship day!
