The questions used to be always smugly difficult bordering on impossible now but thanks to google it’s all solveable in 20 mins.

I always hated that Quiz,far to difficult.....I don't think I ever got more than three and I know my stuff.

Ah - The annual Racing Post Xmas Quiz thread.
The thread usually does not start until in-between Xmas and New Year - at the very earliest - or, more likely, a day or two before the Entries deadline, early in the New Year - when some are struggling with the more obscure answers. Sign of the times - GEORGE  ... new technology - 'bah humbug' - and all that. |

Given the comments here it seems somewhat ironic that for the first time I have been unable to finish the quiz. I consider myself an expert Googler and internet sleuth but I'm six questions short of finishing it. How flag of goats reckons it takes 20 minutes online is beyond me. I've had to give up for the first time since Mr Randall started them. Still, I did win second prize once when Stan James sponsored it rather more generously than it currently is!
