RAB HAVLIN,,

Hi Cardenden,I don't understand why Havlin is so inept on the AW tracks but unless he is on a steering job he seems to struggle.Given he is supposed to be a superb horseman it poses a big question mark whether to back his mounts.

In the past 5 seasons his AW figures are:

2YO - 64 wins from 304 rides at a SR of 21%

3YO - 92 wins from 512 at 18%

4YO+ 57 wins from 584 rides at 10%

All of which are better than his turf figures but don't you just hate it when the small detail of the facts get in the way of your (non) argument?

I only commented on what I have seen of limited AW rides by him,he just does not seem to have the tactical nous of say Fanning or Norton?
