On the Premium Charge page, has the Total Charges already been divided by 2 for the purposes of PC calculation.

What I mean is that if total charges are £10k, would you, then be liable for PC when you hit £50k profit,

or would the total need to be divided by 2 first & therefore meaning £5k & thus PC liable at £25k profit.

ok cheers, so total charges should be 20% of your profits? - if  you've not hit the 250k threshold of course

Does the premium charge tab appear for you salmon?  It appears from me when my charges are less than 50% of gross profit.  The net profit figure is a good bit higher than the money I've withdrawn, so if you are the same prob about 40 years Happy

Yes it's been there for years but I vary between 28 and 40% of winnings paid in commission and will be about 140 before I get over £250k unless I up my stakes or get VERY lucky. Obviously unlike some I have other sources of income     Happy

Commission shown in total charges on the portal is the commission generated, not the commission paid; and comm paid is normally higher than that generated, so a bit misleading in telling you how much you've coughed up.

I think my current charges paid is around 35%. Obviously I have a net profit which is quite a bit lower than my gross profit. I've assumed I won't pay PC unless that figure goes below 20% ( unlikely ) or I make a net profit of £250k overall (highly unlikely).

yes andriy it is a scam and I would be very surprised if BF's commission income was not a lot higher than the figure represented by commission generated.  I'm surprised that a 40%+ charge payer hasn't complained to the OFT.
