I think dropping in after a smart break then having to make the ground back up were very poor tactics

He does that almost every time I watch him on a favourite/2nd favourite.

The point that most people (and many jockeys) tend to overlook is that the rail is usually the place to be if in the lead,for an obvious tactical

reason,namely you can't be passed on the inside. Any runner that's behind you but has runners holding it in can't get out or if it can it could

run out of time.
