Whilst appreciating that some of these big price bets are both BOT Matching and PART of BOOK BALANCING ...

- surely you have to purposely Stake £122  for that bet at Betfair STARTING PRICE.

I'd take the view that is probably a useful horse. Probably wasn't even supposed to be off and still won, beating all the form horses.

This is Newcastle.
One of these results every meeting.
You have been warned previously so no excuses if you lay the big 'uns.

Look on the bright side, better backing the 2nd than laying the winner.

Don't believe the trainer would let that happen...

I'd be surprised if there's many people laying anything at that sort of price unless they are using automated software to lay a book.

I think it was just sent up there for a run and has caught connections by surprise tbh.

Barton, I lay at those prices but some tracks I ever touch,Chepstow & Newcastle aw are two of them.

You'd lay one horse in a race at that sort of price?

I back big prices but I skipped this race. Gutted!

You must have an enormous amount of bets - wisewords ...

- and, consequently - an enormous amount of Losers, too.
By:
RothmanMike
When: 17 Oct 18 19:30
Yes Barton - 20 bets daily.
No Losers last week, none so far this week.

I would take Newcastle form with a pinch of salt Barton I know it looked well on top at the finish but came past very tired horses if they rate that above 80 I will be keen to take it on.

Surface apparently very deep and with slight uphill finish, makes the form unreliable.
Bit like Towcester, the form doesn't travel.

are your bets inplay or pre-race Mike?

at least 5 winners above 50 inplay since 4:30pm today in UK racing, including a 175sp.
By:

Pre-race.
I don't play in 2-y-o races for obvious reasons.

If you lay them for even just a score, that is 400 a day profit (less commission) but you would need thousands in your pot. Good going Mike. Is that Hayley in your photo?
