well actually he was niggling from halfway, the horse looked tapped for speed and was never getting there imo

I think he's a moderate jockey at best but the main thing that got that horse beaten was lack of experience.

It jumped much better than the winner, he just let it slide back

Would you go away and lie down , he broke in front of the winner and the tool reined him back into mid division, thus giving away the edge he had, and forfeiting any chance he had . The horse should have won a minute with any kind of drive.
