hers in the next, Beaming,  backed in from 66s to 10s today

I picked it on my fred the other day when it was an also ran at Brighton, and had intended to give it another speculative chance back on the AW, but it looks like I need to get meself out of bed earlier Crazy

I backed Beaming in the 4 place market but once again Sophie is poorly away from the gate.

Aye, missed break, ran on to be a never nearer 5th.

awful form figures, dunno why they didn't wait until the class 7 0-50s start in the AW season, still wudda been a price.

3 of those runners ran in a Class 7 at Lingfield 17 days ago. There's hardly any difference with just 5lbs difference at the top of the weights.

I don't agree with that, Langley Vale and Furni Factors would be ineligible for a 0-50, so it would have placed without them in the field.

Time Medicean is rated 51, so suppose he would get into a 0-50 under the +2lb rating band that they now have.

I said hardly any difference George. At this level a pound or two is nothing much at all.

It made a difference to your 4tp bet and anyone who'd backed it EW at 66s.

To say that a horse rated 50 or under has an equal chance of winning in 0-55 as it does in a 0-50, is a ridiculous statement to make, imo.

I also think it is ridiculous to expect Class 6 and 7 horses to run to their marks so consistently. But as ever you know best.

you thought you were being clever pulling me up about my 18.26 post, and then when I point out to you that without FF and LV in the field (who are ineligible for 0-50s), she hits the frame, you're still claiming 0-50, 0-55s, they're all the same.

No they're not, but believe what you want.

I wasn't trying to be clever at all, but think what you like if it suits you.

It came across to me that you were poo pooing my post.

But we're not going to have a cyber falling out over it, so we'll agree to disagree, and I'll wish you luck with your bets.

Thank you George. You see when I first started backing horses top weights in handicaps were conceding 2 stone or more at times so I don't concern myself too much with these narrow bands we now have.
