Off for a nearly a year, but gets the job done on stable debut, and judging by the way they were kissing and hugging each other afterwards, it looked like connections had had it right off.

Not over-loaded with pace, so chance he could be allowed to just amble across to the rail unmolested.

Very strange betting operative backed off the boards and hooked up
It was a very strange betting race. I couldn't understand why the winner was a BIG drifter. As stated above 5/4 etc looked a decent price
Wd the draw put me off the horse but very well handicapped and a nice drift to boot good call
The owners of the winner thought 5/4 was a bit short and that he would drift.
thought shd have been odds on after prev race. not many horses win sprints on the bridle.
On the book definitely an odds on shot. Some concern about a quick turnaround having produced a big performance after a year off the track.

David Egan was going to ride the horse having won on him at Donny but was then rerouted to another meeting. We don't have a hard and fast rule about jockey bookings tbh.
Best way, imo.

Horse has a turn of foot which is a big plus with a sprinter could see it picking up a decent prize in the future when a race is run to suit.
