conditions at Ayr tomorrow and rest of meeting look very testing to say the least.Hopefully no chance of a repeat of last year...drove down early,didn't hear it was in danger until between Perth and Stirling...anyone local know what the latest forecast for tomorrow afternoon is,please?

my guess called off for safety reasons

50mph gusts at 4pm and lessening. CoC can't say they were unaware of wind speeds but no tents and or cherry picker TV.

I couldn't find any ref to max wind speed makes it unsafe for actual racing, assuming infrastructure remains in place. So expect a full card.

Check @KelsoRacecourse on twitter. Could have done with a stronger opinion from them though.

UPDATE 11:50am High winds are expected to peak at 2pm, any decision as to whether an inspection is required will be taken immediately before the first race at 4.10pm when the winds are expected to ease No inspection is planned with regarding the track, this is ready for racing

reports of power cuts and blocked roads in the area, good effort for giving it every chance ...

Certainly calmed down a bit further north, any news
