At least you're relaxed about it.

I would be more angry with the person who is forcing you to bet on it.

Last weekend for once, Coolmore didn't have everything to themselves. Injuries to high class horses are very sad but GB trainers managed to land 4 of the big races for once and another was won by Prendergast. If you don't enjoy Irish racing, don't watch it. I tend to only watch the big meetings plus any jump races that might give clues to Cheltenham. If GB racing is cancelled but Irish is on then I will watch but on a normal day, GB racing is enough.

Watching brief for possible valuable info is fine,...betting nah especially in run-of-the-mill races; their stewards and jockey club do not sing from the same hymn sheet, and decisions tend to be influenced by high profile connections and stables.
Irish Racing can and will hurt your pocket, beware! |

Too many Grade Ones spoil the occasion! The jumps are worse at the take it in turns game. Oh! good, a new Grade One novice chase at Limerick on 26th December - Guy Fawkes has already signed up.

All these Group 1 extra races these days spoils the competitiveness of it all. The best horses can comfortably avoid each other and run up a sequence of Group 1 wins which they couldn't have hoped to attain at one time.
