Should have told Cole to stuff his job after getting Jocked off Generous.

By:
It wasn't Cole it was the owner Fahd Salaman
By:
Yeah it was the owner but he still kept to quiet for my liking.
By:
He handled the situation in an extremely professional manner, although he must have been throwing things about in private when he got home. Very good and dignified jockey who reached the top of his trade from very humble beginnings.

a long time on gardening leave.

He was assistant trainer to G Margasson and more importantly, married to Alex Hammond.

Did a Dunwoody and turned his back on Racing.

I think you are getting mixed up. Paddy Broderick was old enough to be her great great grandfather.

Slightly off subject but I had a decent ante post bet on the Derby that Generous won. 200 EW on Hector Protector ridden by Freddie Head IIRC. It beat Generous by about eleven lengths when they met in France beforehand but that was over a mile. The turnaround in form staggered me but the extra four furlongs at Epsom...

By:
Memory playing up stewarty, was the Prix Morny over 6f on good to soft, Generous had nothing in it's favour that day
By:
Can anyone remember the horse that started the problems with the owner

By:

was marking the board in my local laddies in Stirling around the time he started winning as an apprentice. i remember he had 3 large price ones on the same day, he was born in Fallin a small village close to stirling and all the locals were on.
