Agree,was obviously on the best horse,just way too far back on a slow pace.

He gave up inside the final furlong then started to ride again. These flat jockeys really are getting worse.

I took it on but was ridden with kid gloves and would not have been happy had I backed it.

Proven stayer who has beat them all before, so lets hold her up way off a slow pace and let them turn the race into a sprint. Absolutely dreadful performance. Best horse in the race and it gets beat due to dumb tactics.

I was surprised he was riding it - not sure if it was a weight issue at Goodwood, but the younger Egan gave it a lovely ride there.
