Cardigan Bay is improving all the time and today she should run well as long as she settles. She does need to step up again which I feel she is capable of and she will have a good chance if settling early enough.

i must sthe drift doesnt effect me in that that i know where the horse is at physicaly so just had another 30QUId at the bigger odds ,,, but it looks as if its quite a competative little race with other stables having a go ,,, good luck which ever one yr on ,

thanks for yr kind remarks ,,, im sure some of you are aware i only punt on info ,,, the last two months the stuff hasnt been there with the sun then the rain making the horses unreliable to punt with any degree of confidence ; So the last few days ive sat on my hands , and that was made even harder because today was a very late race ,

the drifting remark is an interesting one in that i tend like today to use drifts as a way of winning more money ,,, in that if im punting a horse that the stable tell me is fit and well and has a chance ,,, and i can get double the odds why not take that as a way of making more cash , Of course drifter do lose and drifters win , , i try to see the drift that while interesting neutral in my punting ,

while today was good i have to say these are difficult times for my kind of punting , so i have to wait till the game changes and then move forward , as i indicated last two months the bets havnt been there

not sure a 3/1 winner is outstanding ??? its ok ,,, and i got a bit of 8S but def not 11S , but on a dull sunday thats very acceptable

todays message is a repeat of yesterdays ie the bumper at perth where im off with connections of one of the runners in the big race , delightful weather today , anyway ,,, my thoughts have turned to the bumper ,,i suppose its simple we have the champ on the big odds on shot with a couple of wins to ensure everyone trying to get out in the last betting heat ,,,

yet the so called second string ie Creadon Belle is no mug ,,, i know its doing ok at home and will def improve from its last run , the stable are of course a law to themselves so i intend to keep an eye on the betting ,,, the horse i know is going to be a horse that will win races ,,, what i dont know is if its going to be given a chance to beat the fav , i cant pretend i know the answer to that but at 7/1 ive decided its possible

yesterdays horse was to say the least interesting ,,, dropped way out the back gentle improvement after the odds on shot stablemate was ridden into contention , ridden up the back of two others and then into non existant gaps , looked like a case of next time claude as it finished late half a length behind the third , no real pressure exerted ,, im not suggesting anything untoward just that the way the race panned out didnt suite it ,,, but wil be looking at it very carefully next time
