you cant be a long term figures jockey if you cant judge pace

Led, ridden over 2f out, soon headed and beaten, weakened final furlong (tchd 7/2)

Led, ridden entering final 2f, headed over 1f out, edging right and no extra 1f out, weakened inside final furlong (op 4/1)

you're reading things into small sample evidence imo

i thought there was 2 yest but could only find one. imo he just goes off and if the horse is good enough it keeps going :/

If he was MJ's regular jock I reckon he'd do alright on front runners over the season. Happy

fear...that's the whole point of looking at the figs

if you know how to discount properly for opportunity then jockeys cant be around the top of the figures list with this as their MO:

imo he just goes off and if the horse is good enough it keeps going

just bouncing everything out in front regardless of pace is not an efficient riding style

Personally I don't mind his riding style, if the horse is good enough he should be still there at the end. Compare that to some of the halfwit that are riding the best horse in the race but get themselves too far behind and can't get a clean run.

sometimes it's just banter mate i wouldnt be laying all his frontrunners or i'd be skint probably. I thought he judged it well on Persian Moon. Allegiant i thought he got in a bit of a battle with Balding's but luckily i laid that one instead. Laid SDS 1.03 just in case and lost £6.

i also thought the price held up on allegiant when it looked clear winner so i wasnt the only one. had mute so no idea what hoiles was saying.
