i am fed up of races going off late. Why can the B.H.B. not make sure that the industry they run goes off at the proper time.Every day races are delayed. Most people who like to have a bet also like to see where their hard earned money goes and that means tuning in to watch the race. But the Butchers ,Bakers ,and Candle stick makers all over this land know that if they back a horse in the 2.30 race its likely to go off at 2.37. Now people are busy creatures and have other things to do apart from backing a horse.BUT.............these same people know that if they back a horse on the internet or in a bookie office and watch it,they will be delayed and the children will not be picked up from school ,wives will be cross, appointments will be missed, shops will open late after lunch, and so fourth. So the only answer is not to bother backing the horse of their choice. NOW ,horse racing depends on gambling ,and if the H.R.B. can not get their races off on time a full domino effect is caused all over the country .they are running the industry into the ground. And there is a simple answer to this problem that the H.R.B.could do to sort it out.and the answer is this="get of your fat arses and get your races off on time"
i reckon we lose 1/2 an hour of our lives EACH DAY watching horses load (slowly) into the stalls. THE HRB need to understand people have shorter attention spans nowadays and SORT this nonsense out.

i am not advertising gambling but i believe that gambling would increase 50% if everyone know that the 2 o clock race would go off at 2 o clock. but its a case of turn your watch or clock back 200 years as far as horse racing is concerned.

if a horse is not in the stalls at 2 pm ,run the race without him,a certain jockey not long ago walked his mount down to the start this year at Sandown and delayed a race 25 minutes.its only one example ,but most times it is not the horse that is to blame . 20 horse fields start loading at 2 pm ,5 handlers working their socks off to get them in while the other handlers stand looking on.
