did they call the right horse the winner as i'm looking at the still, admittedly on small screen, and it looks as if the 10 has nosed out the one.

they got it right but you have to think about it a bit. Horse with head down is the winner. High head the loser.

thank you howard, i have only seen a small image and a dark one at that, looking forward to seeing the photo in much better definition on BHA site.

just seen it H, yes the one is clearly the winner and the photo-finish print, especially the small one, can be very illusional. those poor judges!!
