Anything above 4/5 is decent value imo for John Constable to be placed. Also got a C.S.F. on here, 3 to beat 4. Fav's form looks different gravy if it can jump imo. gl/all.

You could see before the start he would be sitting a long last. Why?

Horse is a hold up performer but that was ridiculous

If anything that second go at chasing by John Constable was even worse than the first attempt.

You would think some trainers would school their beasts over fences before being let loose on a racecourse...

if you don't know by now that evan williams is one of the most useless clowns in the sport, you shouldn't be backing horses

I didn't lay JC. But if I back a shortie in a Novice Chase I want it on the bunny. Nowhere else.

stewarty b, did you not see his first race over fences, he showed no aptitude whatsoever. You might have expected that he would have shown some slight improvement at the second attempt.

I had some idea  - but not that useless , horse was not even close to being ready for that ( apologies for adding HIS to your thread)

I know kevo. Thought it might have been schooling better at home given there was a good few quid came for it.

One thing for sure....or should that be at a guess?.....The original FAV would have taken care of that lot if able to jump.

The Forecast market has been settled incorrectly after the withdrawal of the FAV.  Stakes not returned, can BF sort out please

The start of the race needs to be questioned if nothing else -or the starter himself
needs to go to spec savers

Maybe I missed it but from what I saw, Wedge did nothing to offer the beast any 'encouragement'. ie. A love tap or two to get it interested?

I've seen stranger races than that one but not many!

I would imagine they wanted settle him at the back and try to get him to jump fluently first and foremost but unfortunately that didn't happen.
