Seriously Dom, even if you think the ratings used to be any good (I don't), do you honestly believe that they have somehow escaped the recent corner-cutting that's been the culture in every other department at the RP?

I've always viewed the RPR with suspicion, the OR is the one I prefer.

RPR, BHA, Timeform et all ratings are faulted to a point, it's not an exact science after all, but unfortunately the only numerical based system of rating form we have to work with.

The only other guide is sectional timing that rates speed (not form).
