Notice he has 3 interesting runners at Wolver tonight with jockey bookings that catch the eye. Can only find he's had 2 runners here with 1 winner Manuka, sent over from Ireland.
3.25 Manuka a slow old jumper over distances who has won just 1 race on the flat, here in Dec 2015 over 2ms off 60, no form this year just 3 runs but won over 2m6fs over hurdles a year ago off 113, so why has he booked Simon Walker today off 55. 1m6fs may be a tad on the short side but worth watching in the market imo.
4.00 Ancient Astronaught- Ran well at Dundalk recently with recent winners A Likely Story and Pillar just ahead, Pillar was due to reapose today on 6lbs worse terms but McGuinness has w/d both of his horses from this race, already been backed into 9/4 with a useful 7lbs claimer Ray Dawson taking 7lbs off his 45 rating!
6.05 Seanie, not the horse he was a few years ago but still won 2 races at Dundalk in late 17  and April this year over 6/7fs off 68 and 74 gets in here off 63 but again apprentice takes off a very useful 7lbs, think he's best at 7fs and didn't run too badly at Dundalk over 1m when 4th to Eos. Think he may have a winner or two today.

Manuka having Simon Walker up has to be of interest in the amateur race. However I thought Adrian McGuinness' Pivot Bridge was the more interesting raider at Wooly today

Ancient Astronaut ran a cracker behind decent horses at Dundalk. Needs to reproduce the form but has a nice draw here and off bottom weight can see why money for him.

I'm not sure Seanie is the same since he left Davy Marnane but would like to see the old fella run well.

Pivot Bridge has drifted this am from 6/1-10/1, not sure he'll run as trainer has w/d other 2 runners, unless they've shared a horsebox with just the 4 horses going.

Hard to tell with Ado's horses but Beau Rocko is entered tomorrow (better draw) and in Roscommon next week so maybe excuses. Could have been just company in the horseboxes or maybe they know Karls will hose up Confused

I hate amateur races but his son is down to ride this one today so regardless of the drift horse has the form to go close. Finished extremely well under Dusty at Leopardstown 2 runs back and although much higher rating on the aw, Tadhg claims 7lbs. Think he only rode a few in public but is supposedly a decent young horseman.

Hello Stewart, nice write up,agree with Seanie,v capable of going well.

More intersted in the 3.25 though, accept Manuka has glimpes of form, even a course win but as you said no form for a while, without jockey looks a 20/1 shot. Worth a watch as again you said could well be a job.
Pivot Bridge got my attention a bit, another bit of a plodder he is at least uncomplicated,i presume that is Ado's son and 1st ride in public?  Still has been running quite well, 14th jun had Manuka 8L behind(fwiw) followed that with 2 v respectable runs at Leop and Killarney and maybe Sligo's distance last time was too short?
Anyway surely Da(?) will have the horse spot on for a fairytale start to young McG's career? At best 12/1 a small ew on that theory.

Ancient Astronaught got dropped from 61 to 46 for not running on the all weather also last turf run was off 58.
Runs off 45 today!!

AA ran a really good race from a wide draw last time and was running on well right to the line.
Apprentice takes off another 7 and has a much better draw today.

Have to agree Ancient Astronaut looks to have the best chance of the 3 but is short enough, The 1st one in the 3.25 has also drifted right out but will wait till before the race wether i back it or not, have actually already backed Jenny Ren EW, on actual recent form has a great chance imo at a very nice price, remember this jockey hacking up on a 66/1 shot at Lingfield a few years ago for Santos(the good thing i backed came 2nd!), then followed up here by 16 lengths.
Thanks for the comments, OP was really based on Jockey Bookings not neccessarily because i fancied all 3.

Manuka 11.5 on the exchange, 5s with Paddys.

Think i'll let Manuka go by, strange that some early punters backed it at 9/2, drifted out to 16, will just let Jenny Ren run, backed EW earlier.

Somebody mopping up Manuka out to 23 now.

War this a case of someone backing early to clean up later, if so putting Walker up was a masterstroke. Thought Jenny Ren was really unlucky, should have been placed at least with anything like a clear run.

Manuka was beat after a few furlongs,Jenny Ren didn't really get a clear but place at best, Pivot Bridge is just slow, needed a faster pace, decent ride by the youngfella all the same.

I thought Pivot Bridge ran ok considering. hit and miss these amateur races. either they go off way too fast or they just dawdle

Yes that was imo the case lsdm.
Funny one with Hogans coming up Stewart, odd odd placing.

This stable certainly know what they are doing, would be interesting to know who was laying Manuka out to 23/24 before race, and they've lumped on this winner!

the replay of AA's last run advertised the chance it had

tonight's run was the same except it was better drawn and this was probably a weaker race

I think he's decent worth his 7lbs, horse was always likely to be behind but had to come around all of them around the bend.

tried to swap whip hands stewart but got in a tangle so sensibly didnt persist

but otherwise well worth his 7lb claim

AA won fairly handily alright. Dawson did the job well but i suspect I could have won on the horse.
Where did Hogans end up in Bangor? missed that race
