*should have said around 1.6, was 1.62 to lay.

Layers have at least 3 running for them imo.
Haertstring was behind her at Thirsk, but was green and was on the wing on what might not have been the best ground. I didn't see the Beverley run but the RP spotlight says she met with interference at a crucial stage. Amazing Alba has gone backwards from an eyecatching debut. Sophia Maria showed good pace from the outside draw at Ripon last time and stuck at it well, looks worth a go over 5f on that evidence. Still not sure I'd want to lay the fav, so just waffle from me I'm afraid. ![]() |

Thanks George don't think it's waffle.
One that I'd only lay earlier after it's already been backed and then hope the market agrees with me near race time (see a drift). |

They don't always progress from the debut as you say, a good recent example being Sootability, who came nowhere near to confirming the Thirsk form with the Burke filly next time at Nottingham, albeit under a penalty.
I'd fancy Heartstring to get closer this time, but third run for a mark if that's the way they want to go? |

I think Amazing Alba can have excuses for her last two runs, expect a better run today. Ive backed her @8.2 and had a little place bet.
