On a 75.0 winner in a poxy dire NH flat race? Plus it was 5s to place. All after the event I may add but I was saying it 15 years ago. Different gravy. (and no, I wasn't on)

Let me put it another way. If I paid 100k for a jumps horse from France that had decent form, I would pay Derek 2k to ride my beast every time.
I don't know how many winners he has ridden but had he turned pro he would be in the top ten horsemanship in my book. (alongside AP, Ruby and Trickie Dickie) IMHO of course and if he was put in that league he couldn't do worse than 8th.
