what an idiot
By:
absolute steering job, wheel came off in his hands .... won't be riding for Willie again
By:
Never a gap. Wouldn't come back in if I were him
By:
Any sort of ride with a modicum of intelligence and he would have won.....
By:
That was truly shocking
By:
not a mention on ITV
ffs |
By:
Need to watch it again but I thought the horse that stopped him coming off the rail was Mullins other runner.
By:
Aye Buick kept him in at first
By:
bet he won't be shouting they gave it me this time.
By:
Was making ground hand over fist without being ridden after the carnage.
By:
thing is he broke well was in very good handy position early on then pulled it back into a sh1te position behind everything.
By:
very poor judgement
By:
That was a f awful ride at the bend he's full of running that must make the top 5 worst ever rides
By:
The Saturday mug money was on it today, last time out at Newbury was "the day" after being teed up at Royal Ascot with one of the most laughable rides you will ever see.
By:
As PF said earlier, not a mention on ITV, fooking clueless
By:
It's really hard to comprehend that these fackwits on ITV have not even mentioned the troubled run the fav got when absolutely cruising - beggars belief
By:
itv racing, the lot of them, have seen that ride and are clearly refusing to discuss it to spare the jockey. another example of racing looking after their own.
By:
Jason Weaver, his run flattened out, you fooking blind idiot
By:
lets be fair at 1 30 today you were a million to nearly get put over the rails at York this week, clean racing all week and suddenly toiday all the jocks decide the inside the place to be,must have all received the bookies brown envolopes, the racings gone from A,B,C to the usual Saturday lottery just like the bookies like it
By:
The whole programme is now beyond a joke..not to discuss Winston's ride on the shortest priced Ebor favourite in the last god knows how many years just beggars belief.
By:
It's Tony Bloom that picks Robert Winston NOT Willie Mullins.
Interesting to contrast the ride with Adam Kirby's ride on Flaming Spear, Bloom's Goodwood winner. AK left nothing to chance and came wide. |
By:
is everything supposed to go wide?

absolute steering job, wheel came off in his hands .... won't be riding for Willie again i'll have £10,000 at 1.1 he rides it next time? |
By:
I'll give you £500 at 1.1?
By:
Racing uk even worse Nevison and the sky man summing up the ebor not a 1 second comment on the fav
By:
james hes contracted to ride all tony blooms..he done nothing wrong there..door was closed...why wont he ride it again iyo?
By:
Anthing can happen. Might have 2 on same day like today at diff meetings. Winston might get injured or few days suspension.
Bloom may prefer Kirby, not a 1/10 shot imo. |
By:
He clearly panicked and tried to force a gap that wasn't there. The winner romped home anyway, and would have been very tough to beat but Winston did do something wrong.
By:
cider its horseracing..it happens every day.
By:
Of course Willie, and jockeys make mistakes every day. Hold a horse up on the inside in a big field and you need the cards to fall in your favour. When they stayed on the rail it was always going to be difficult. In my view he panicked too early but it's cost him a placing at worst.
By:
imo it would have won.
By:
Imo your opinion isn’t worth a hill of beans, if it was any good then you wouldn’t be going round Britain in a shhitty little van , laying fallers for 2 pound a pop.

its all objective,RW has steered plenty home for him, doubt hell change jockey.

By:
20 runners..are they all supposed to go wide?
![]() |
By:
just one of those races, never got the split...too many pocket talkers
By:
and i was waiting on the double
By:
there always a hard luck story in the ebor last year it was Edward Greatrex on NATURAL SCENERY this year its Stratum guess its just one of them racing where you need the rub of the green.
By:
First 4 home drawn 13 17 20 21. Stratum drawn 4. There's your first clue.
Horse had to really ping from the gate and be very close up early doors. Didn't happen. After that the horse needed all the luck to get a run. Entirely predictable - no point in slagging the jock. |
