Just back in and a tad annoyed. When I left home there were six books going 5/2. Ten minutes later the first four books I hit are 9/4. Coincidence?
Paranoia perhaps? It's not the first time it's happened and now lucky if you get the 9/4. That said I will continue to share my selections from time to time after I'm on or backing it on here. Probably drift come post time. gl/all. |

Stewy thinks 4 high street bookies cut their prices when he puts a horse up on the forum

For the record Craig the high street books adjust their prices according to Betfair prices. And where do I post?
|
|
By:
To be fair Stewey the horse had been shortening all day. Plenty of 4/1 last night and was mostly 9/4 when you posted, so the price was already going, going, gone.
No conspiracy |

let him believe his own hype imho

That's fair enough e f but it wont have been the first time. And not only horses. The first post was put up here this week...

They have drawn one and lost two of their last three games but no duds. Another bet I fancy is Atalanta at 1/2 whom I think will get by Copenhagen with a decent first leg result. The double pays 6/4 and I'll have a couple of bob on that. g/l if getting involved. Win or lose I've bagged the odds. |

This coming from a 'judge' who accused me of hating WS. Still waiting to hear back from him.. |

im saying if you believe you move markets then charge on, dont let others burst your bubble
|
|
By:
I never said I moved markets. But on many occasion I have put a selection up and the price has contracted. I stated last week that if I troll the books thinking a beast I fancy may contract in price in 50-60% of the time I'm right.
The 50-60% being getting the price right, not the % of winners. It can be easily checked. |

At least I'm getting something right.. |

9/4 out to 7/2.

Did you look at Fair Frank stewy?

WD stewy - I couldn't back it - laid the favourite.

One horse race, WD stewey
|

everyone's a winner, stewy gets 9/4 and the bookie gets the lot back on here at 4.89 - they should send a car round for you ....

Thanks lads, a winning day albeit far more if Atalanta and Rangers oblige.
|

hulk, on the bright side I have a winning bet that might not have been if backing on here.....given the drift.

What time did he put it up tangle?
|
|
By:
He went for Canford Thompson at Stratford, but Oliviers Hill is his type of play, so a bit dumbfounded
|
|
By:
Don't believe the hype Stewey, I love a drifter (and posted as such many times) and often top up at a bigger price rather than lay bet off.
|

A drift doesn't usually bother me e f .... if there's a reason for it. In the case Tom Scu's beast was getting backed although well behind.
