Can anyone explain to me the role of an 'Optimisation Agile Coach' ?

Seems a strange move from Dublin to one of the poorest countries in Europe

Optimisation Agile Coach means someone is justifying their own job by making up stupid job titles. Moving to a poor country =- cheap wages?

I am studying Rumanian in order to speak to Customer Services. English hasn't been much good for years.

Cheap wages in Romania? The posh term is labour arbitrage.

Agile is the jargon word for a fashionable way of working in IT. Coach implies they want someone to set it up and explain it to the other wage slaves. Agile has long been used in development with stand-ups and scrum masters, but is now being spread to operations, with names like tribes and squads. Ah -- here is an explanation from a job advert posted by Paddy Power for the same role in London.

God they don't half use some waffling rubbish to advertise for jobs these days.
Report sparrow • August 23, 2018 1:05 PM BST

Can't stand all the jargon nonsense for some reason people that use it think they're more intelligent.
Report timberman • August 23, 2018 1:20 PM BST
Apparently if you get the job in Romania and you work 14 hours a day for 6 days you would have enough to buy your family a McDonalds meal on the 7th day.

Passion is the big word in job ads these days.  The company is passionate and they are looking for people who are passionate.  Doesn't matter what the job is; wiping old peoples arses, picking dog ends out of the urinal, its gotta be your passion or your not getting the job.
