who do you respect in the tipping department and follow now and again?

for me Steve Palmer, racing post golf tipster and templegate in the sun.

portman, I don't follow any and always pick my own, but always get sun racing on a saturday and see what templegate goes for, don't necessarily follow them, but respect his picks, he's not really a favourite backer.

Been thinking about subscribing to the ethical edge coz he sounds so clued up on the telly.

Tipsters have never really interested me but comments by George Baker and other recently retired jockeys are sometimes helpful. Jason Weaver often has a useful angle. If they reinforce what I already expect then I might be tempted to increase my bet.

G.Delamere also,

IMO. How you arrive at a selection is just
as important as finding the likely winner,
because one is no good without the other.
H.T has taken it to another level.

The biggest disappointments are the Timeform guys.
I would bet there is not one(since Bull)who can
produce a profit on their own betting.

On the train in Llwynypia a few years ago, there was a discarded copy of the RFO on the train. I've never seen this sold anywhere in the valleys. I digress, some tips were highlighted in pink (including Birchy's) Usual drivel; £395 e/w on an 85/40 fav with Hills or something. Was laughing to myself all the way to Cardiff.
