what will happen next year. will ATR simply die and amalgamate into sky sports racing.

Also will Racing UK divide into two channels / red button to incorporate all the irish racing.

I dont bet on irish racing so if there is an unsurprising subscription increase on RUK then i am gone.

all change next year.

Not what i want to happen but aren't the tracks going to think they will get better exposure on Sky? Such a changing world, tv sports rights. The US Open Tennis will be on Amazon not Sky this year, for example. And of course, the USPGA golf was on some random internet site that paid millions.

Also, there are so many betting related adverts being forced down our throats on all sports broadcasts that imo a ban could happen. What does that mean for Sky and ATR?

very good points there fear. it will get to a point where the market is so fractured that we all just give up instead of paying 5/6 subscriptions. then what?

true  CW but i did read maybe people will knock sky on the head and pay for a few smaller subscriptions instead? Hard to predict i think.

a lot of people just signed up for the free trial to watch the golf and have cancelled it now

I hope a lot of these smaller channels go bust as there isn't room in the market for multiple sports channels to flourish imo

i think at the moment i pay for sky, ruk, eurosport player, atr player, bt sport (bloody hell). I like boxing but wouldn't pay again for box nation if it didnt come with bt.

Yep, couldn't watch the golf so had no bet and therefore no interest, couldn't tell you who won it even now....although I will now have a look.

I pay for sky, RUK & eurosport
tried BT for a while but I felt it wasn't worth it for what they have

I don't follow boxing but it strikes me that it is a massive rip off

How come your sky package doesn't include eurosport wonders, thought that was a gimme to all sky subscriptions.

I also pay for sky, ruk and ATR. Its a lot of money. I often think that i could make do with ITV racing as i mostly watch on weekends anyway. I would really miss the betting lab though on friday evenings...NO BET

By far the best deal is my £100 annual subscription to mlb.tv for unlimited action. 20,000 hours of the best sport on the planet is available. my only regret is that watching the new york mets is ever so painful this year.
