I noted him when he ran at Haydock earlier this season and duly selected him on my notebook thread when he ran at Windsor, where he alright and did enough to suggest he'd win a little race, but he didn't seem to be going forward thereafter - until Christine sorted him out!]

She's only had the horse 3 weeks, it will still be under the benefit of Dascombe's training regime, and condition he had it in. Very difficult to ruin a horse in 3 weeks. Give it another couple of months and it will be running like the rest of hers.

domino, you think she should have much more winners with her class of horses?

Dom
How long would it take to "ruin" a horse? New regime and what not tar |

@Sparrow
I'm sure she's a nice lady but I personally think she has a lot of dead wood and should either completely restock if her owners can afford to or pack up. No fun in having 5 winners a year with 20 odd awful horses. @Sacredmoney About 6/7 weeks. Horses are still using fuel form food and so on for at least 3-4 weeks and fitness holds for around a month when you ease off them or change regime. However I'm sure Alan Berry or Michael Chapman could buck this theory and ruin one in 48 hours. |
