I'm not nearly as good a jockey as you folk but could (I emphasise could) it be that the jockey stopped whipping it because it was getting unbalance rather than it became unbalanced because the jockey stopped hitting it.
As Acey Deucy says this horse has never raced before and it didn't seem to know what to do when pressure was applied. |

Most of the good trainers have a Golden Rule on 2 year olds first time out.....Never hit it more than twice behind the saddle and i think he got at least 2.

Two hits with the whip and a bit of waving. The hits seem to make the horse move to the left if anything. I would like to see a head on because the horse seemed to be shifting off a true line in the last 1.5 furlongs.
