What was the issue with PP?

Mullins withdrew Ballycasey at the last minute citing a change in the ground to facilitate the running of Patrick's Park who was 1st Reserve; the stewards pulled him in for an explanation, and Mullins was less than happy, to say the least.

1st reserve , Ballycasey pulled out at last minute due to going. Ballycasey has won several times in the same going. Work it out...

Billy's refunded my ante post  stake on PP just after 1pm, on the assumption it was a non runner.

Only just back to watch replay and was astonished to see PP running !
What would Billy's have done with my bet if PP had won ??

I'd have thought they'd need to resettle your bet as a winner given your selection ran, and won.

Don’t see anything wrong with what Willie done it makes sense to run the horse with the best chance of winning in the race ffs if I was the owner I’d have no problem taking him out especially when same owner had another runner in the race do you not think how far down the list of willies runners ballycases would have been

As he had a few in the race couldn't his vet have come up with something?

Billy's have now deducted  the amount I bet from by balance.
So they return my stake ( because they say it's a NR) I use the stake to bet another selection.
They then deduct the Returned stake , because the horse ran after all. So I've bet two horses, one of which was refunded as a NR, then reversed. They can't have it both ways ? It was either a bet or not  a bet.

Don't need to bet another selection. The refunded money is yours.
