Undoubtedly the best jockey currently riding in the UK
By:
change the jockeys change the result, brilliant ride
By:
Buick got too excited.
By:
Outstanding jockey.....and to think there are some on here who think he's useless (Differentdrum)
By:
big race jock
By:
The better jockey won the race , stronger and more stylish ,
By:
Absolute top class from horse and jockey
By:
Change the jockey change the result?....My fookin @rse....Buick was Brilliant.
By:
doyle was even brillianter tho
By:
be interesting to see the split times, doyle rode the race to get the best out of his horse at the trip, that meant being brave and giving his pal a big lead, had he not got up there would have been criticism but if you ride to the gallery you'll always be average

Anybody that thinks the better Jockey Won the race needs to have a word.

Wow what a Race though.

By:
the better jockey won the race
By:
Nay Chance.
By:
Superb race, both jockeys gave their horse the best chance f winning. Thanks to the great trainer for having them both spot on for the race today.
By:
By:
when there is that little in it jockeys make and difference and the splits are crucial, if buick had been on poets word its a million on he'd not have been as patient as doyle and would not have won, just my opinion
By:
If a jockey tracking the wrong horse eg Doyle on Poets Word tracking Coronet instead of Crystal Ocean the runner-up be considered to have ridden a better race than Buick on the runner-up Crystal Ocean is beyond my comprehension.
By:
Terrible ride by Doyle....To far back The Muppet.

By:
true MJK
By:
Even Doyle said he was farther back than he wanted to be....Get real lads.
By:
pity cracksman wasnt there but a great KG
By:
I thought Doyle was lucky o get there and Buick went too soon.
By:
Doyle put his faith in the horse and the horse didn't let him down.....that's how I saw the race.
By:
Anybody know what was the best price in running on Poets Voice?
By:
Or Word even??
By:
Poets went to about 15.00 ish
By:
Thanks.
By:
still got it has n't he, Stoute?
Was having my doubts earlier in the year with the shenanigans around Expert Eye and Veracious...should've known better |
By:
Buick was awful and Doyle too far back lol neither was great but two top notch horses.Doyle head and shouldets above Buick thou.Stoute the master
By:
Biggest price Poet's was 18 in running
By:
Jockeys aside it was a very exciting Race even if I did back the second.
By:
With hindsight Buick could have gone for home a fraction later and Crystal Ocean would have got home infront, but hindsight is a valuable tool.
By:
Pretty crazy 1.01.Wish i was a layer lol
By:
Is this some sort of fantasy thread? Even RUK suggested Doyle was further back than ideal. Horse has saved him. Had he just got beat he would have been slated.
By:
was a good ride mate, as noted above he had the balls to risk defeat
By:
He rode the horse to its ability.
Doyler did state he was further back than he wanted in an interview etc. I'm pretty sure Doyle rode the winner. ie it did not come 2nd. |
By:
It could easily have gone Graville Starkey/Dancing Brave Epsom Derby way. Undisputedly a very good race to watch unless one was on the 2nd, but on a more serious note how good was the race?
If AOB needed more confirmation about the well-being of some of her fillies Hydrangea was eased and finished tailed off despite beating Coronet who was 3rd yesterday over the same distance. |
