Aint nobody and I mean Nobody making a profit on placepots.Take it from me who has been doing placepots for 30 Years it is not Doable....Its a Fun bet and anybody that says otherwise knows nothing.

I have had numerous pps up that paid anything from 2 to 20 thousand through doing perms for tiny amounts sometimes perming up to 2500 units
and over a year I usually made a small profit however the last 5 years or so I have found it impossible to make a profit on them either due to bad selections by me or people doing them just being more clued up so I generally look to the bigger meetings and reduce my stakes and units. |

regarding placepot dividends the 27% deduction is a factor but that is the devil we know.. the much bigger devil is when all the unnamed favs make the frame and as we all know results in a much reduced dividend .you pays your money you take a chance i suppose its all good fun

Thanks portman - there was enough rain in South London late afternoon to make me think it might make a difference but it sounds like Ascot missed it ...
