Englishman and Irishman in a bakery shop , Englishman robs 3 buns, sticks them in his pocket and says to Paddy, the owner never even noticed now that's what you call skill. Paddy is livid and says to him that's just thieving . Paddy calls the owner over and says would you like to see a magic trick, the owner says yes so Paddy says put a bun in my mouth. He proceeds to eat it and does it again twice more. The owner says whats magical about that and Paddy says. Check the Englishman's pocket!

Would that be the operation that the majority are funded by two successful London born businessman, and actually very few of those who become stallions and broodmares for Magnier's Coolmore operation, are horses of John and Sue's and whilst they are the original owners of Coolmore, they are nothing but supporting acts to the real money men of Tabor and Smith. So to be exact, two self made London businessmen are pretty much ruling Horse Racing, with the help of their Irish counterpart. |

Agreed it might look like that , Tabor and Smith have money of that there can be no doubt, but to say John is the poor relation of the trio is simply mind blowing..Magnier is the brains behind it all, Tabor and Smith are the punters . Its a pity you couldn't just enjoy the joke, and leave it at that. Willie has a thread up about you , it makes for interesting reading...

Magnier may have been the man who created Coolmore and may have been the brains behind it, but without Tabor's and Smith's backing it would not be the operation it is now.

Derrick Smith worked for Ladbrokes for an ordinary wage when these other guys were already rolling . Only for JP and Tabor , Smith would never be heard of. He’s on the team because of favours done, and no other reason.

The bloke has a property portfolio all over the world worth hundreds of millions, he is the purchaser behind most of the outside purchases at Coolmore. He owns 2 million pound properties in Barbados, owns a village in Spain !! and has a £50m Boat and you think he is on their team because of favours. The bloke started from nothing but has certainly leap frogged the others. Without doubt, he is the wealthiest of the trio. |
