15.00 Sat - Newbury - Invincible Army

In an ideal world would probably want a bit of rain but has been running consistently well in Group 1 and 2 company and, back down to a Group 3 here, I fancy him to win this. An interesting collection of opposition. Projection's runs behind Merchant Navy and The Tin Man the pick of the form but, while always shaping with promise, never seems to be able to get his head in front. Hey Jonesy finished ahead of Invincible Army last time in the Commonwealth Cup but the latter was a little isolated in the middle of the track stuck between the two groups so think he did well to finish where he did. Biggest enigma is Equilateral, emptied surprisingly in the same race at Ascot but watching the video back just now it doesn't go down as the most vigorous ride from James Macdonald so perhaps better can be expected here. But Invincible Army at 7/1 the choice for me. Good luck all.
