One is proven at Group 1 level over 8-10f
The other has looked a non stayer in an average Derby and was previously a fortuitous winner beating a horse who needs every inch of 12f+ and beat him over 10f. Despite the weight for age concession, Deauville is a 4lb better horse on paper and that mark has dropped 5lb, after 2 pacemaking roles. Hazapour will likely be held up, whilst Deauville will race handy. Deaiville remains in good heart at home and has the best form in book, and is proven at the distance and in the class, in fact he is PROVEN at a higher level. Hazapour is yet to prove he can as effective over this shorter trip (beaten over it last season when outpaced and not older, so likely to want further) and also whether he can perform on fast ground (best runs with cut). Deauville has run 3rd on rock hard ground in an Arlington Million, so ground no issue. One is proven , one isn't. The proven horse should not be 15/8, the market makes Deauville a bet for me, that's not to say Hazapour can't improve past him, but Deauville should be fav on form. |

He asked me Hazapour vs Deauville. Not my opinion on the race. My thoughts on the two were correct, Deauville a better horse. No wonder someone tried to shoot you, you would argue with yourself. It's a shame you ducked out on paying a charity money you should have, but then what do you expect from a low life convicted criminal tbh. |
