Dettori to appeal against 10 day ban.....

Appeal board will support principle of the Stewards decision and ban, but will find 10 days too harsh. Ban to commence as scheduled but will be reduced to 5 days. Frankie off to Glorious in front of his adoring public. Just guessing

Not too difficult to draw that conclusion on past results.

What is the downside? Personally, I think there should be one. The ban is never increased, is it?

the bha works in mysterious ways, can take nothing for granted. If they really want to get him for some reason then the 10 will stay. Obviously a reduction likely after Gosden joined in etc.

the ban seemed harsh, the horse followed the horse in front of it as it moved to the rail, he was maybe a little slow to change hands and correct the horse but that's it

Carrot - They found him guilty of careless riding!. They would have had to have found him guilty of improper riding (which it clearly wasn't) to ban him for 21 days.
