If I remember rightly your Sportsbook bets were rather large compared to the rest of us who can only get pennies on,I know you shovel large amounts on Poker etc. but was still surprised to read about anyone getting any real money on with them in particular under any circumstance.

Sportsbook was good for me, for a while but no longer.

I had a couple of decent wins at Ascot, only like 400 or so, but then I got an email saying I would no longer get best odds and now I can barely get anymore than £50-100 on unless the odds are short. Would only allow me £227 on Concierge last night at 11/10.

Wanted to bet a Hannon horse at 2/1 last night, offered me £87.

However can still get decent stakes on Sportsbook on the football, but unless doing a multiple the odds are way under exchange for football I'm finding. Yet what they will take on Multiples will come down considerably. I've had my Ladbrokes Grid account restricted after France winning the world cup, and Paddy Power have closed my account, and that was the first decent win with them.

Exactly willie, but, and I know it's been said many times 13,000+ bets with PP alone and can still have what he wants on, Yet any one else who is flagged up as a potential winner is either heavily restricted or closed.


Yet here we have a guy who has (allegedly taken PP for over 200k+) and no restrictions gets multiple free bets and freebies.

The only question is, Where do the funds keep coming from...

No, but they are all on the same wing in the state hospital.

Fairly sure Greg Gory had been around for years before our hero appeared but is now,at the least,acting as his PR man.

I was minus 3,100 before world cup with Paddy Power. Had £4100 and £5800 off two bets with them, both £600 bets, so £5200 and £3500 profit. That means in 14 months I was £5600 up with them, and they sent me an email advising me I would no longer be able to place bets on Sports with Paddy Power following risk assessment protocol. I simply don't understand if they would close me down for two winning bets on the World Cup and probably a less than 5% ROI over 14 months, how the hell could you win 200K and not be restricted at all. It doesn't make any sense to me.

I wasn't struggling to get on for ages with loads of accounts, but the last 2 months, I've lost 12 of my 18 accounts. I opened a Coral account and £150 ew and £200 ew on merchant Navy at 16s and 14s ante post for the two Ascot sprints. Only bet I had on account, and after it won, I got told my account was no longer available for ante post bets, and a my account would be set to win a maximum of £500 on any bet, and that I wouldn't qualify for Best odds. Then I had £200 on a horse at 7/4 which went off 10/11, it actually got beat a neck, and the following day I couldn't put any bet on above say £20 and got a letter in the post, saying further restrictions were now placed on my account.

I understand if you win lots on the Exchanges, you ended up paying a premium charge, but I don't see how it's possible to win consistently with a bookmaker and not get your accounts effected? I won just over 32K on the world cup after stakes from my bets on France, Croatia and Belgium and I lost 5 accounts in the process and when i went to collect my winnings in cash from Ladbrokes, I got told my Grid account online is now no longer accessible and any shop bets I want would have to be rung through. This came from the guy in a Ladbrokes I had never been to before, but flagged up he had to call customer relations before paying me out on my bet.

Now if that happens from winning just a few grand, I don't get how you could win 200K and not from huge stakes, ie if you were a 10K a bet punter I could maybe understand it, as a bad week you would give it all back, but no restrictions after winning 200K, sounds unlikely to me, from what I'm currently experiencing from winning way less than that. Mine has been a total of around 55K but it's been spread across 7/8 accounts. All bar one butchered thanks to Merchant Navy and France.
