It's not raining at Wimbledon. There is usually a day like that during Wimbledon. I worked near there In Deer Park Road and one Friday after lunch there was so much rain that our drains could not cope with it and our ground floor was under water.

No pa lapsy, I don't know any 'Hoopers'. I've been in Dulwich for many decades and I've never met a Hooper.

Sid Hooper was a bookmaker on the cheapsides at Catford and Wimbledon dogs but he didn't live in Dulwich, Streatham I think. The mad dog man will remember him I'm sure.

He is OK mate, he had his chemotherapy at Fitzpatricks Referrals on Tuesday and that tires him out for a week or so, the course takes 10 hours but he has to have it. A bit wobbly on his back legs still but he is a happy soul and is much loved, sitting on the sofa next to me right now! Cheers for asking. Glad your Muttley is doing OK again and like you say, the heat is not good for them, mine gets 4 walks a day of a mile as that's all he can cope with.
