Finians Oscar Dies

So sad! I understand Finian's Oscar is only a horse nevertheless, the pleasure he gave to horse racing fans. RIP.

Very sad, he was just beginning to turn things around in the 2nd half of last season, reckon he'd have gone on to fulfill his early potential

"He was out in the field showing signs of colic, but it was more than just colic. They operated on him, but a couple of days later he had major organ failure and died," Colin Tizzard said.

"Obviously horses do get colic, but to get this type is rare. He went to the best place in England to be treated, but they still couldn't save him. It's very sad."

Would have had every chance of winning a Gold Cup if his jumping technique was sorted out.

He was absolutely top class in terms of raw ability.

really have to laugh at you guys on here,,,the other week  [ on the same day ],,4 HORSES LOST THEIR LIVES[  2 in one race and 2 in another race.

now because this is a good horse that had died its splattered all over the forum,, but none for the other 4 horses

we all know we lose horses racing but 6 were lost in 2 days,, yet no mention

I think you can assume that we would all feel the same regardless of the level of ability but obviously the higher profile horses get highlighted the most.
