Talking of Spotlight, yesterday a horse called House of Cards ran at Ayr in a Class 6 handicap and the piece said that the horse had poor form but did better on his last run although finished 6th of 7. What they didn't tell us was the fact that the last improved run was in a Class 4 handicap carrying 15lb overweight!
£2.90 for form reading such as that is scandalous unless of course the writer thinks that 15lb overweight is irrelevant.
