Just looking through todays results and was interested to see a 50/1 winner for the Bowens and thought just check its previous form out, ran last Wed same course same distance beaten 38 lengths. having just watched a full replay of both that race and not looking at any news reports or stewards on the improved form today I am not surprised that once again we are being laughed at by trainers and lack of stewardship..I will say nothing more that if you have a few minutes to spare please watch both races and tell me other that this is mugs game why we bother reading form for low grade races.
By all accounts, today's race was full of hard-pulling flat-racers, all of whom went too fast and faded out quickly. Only Beach Break stayed in the van, but that horse is only a moderate handicapper. Well Said just picked up the pieces, according to Bowen, and I suspect that the form is relatively worthless.
