I never saw the race.  Just looking now and see that the odds on fav who was a 4 time maiden fillie up against a Goldolphin twice race colt and a Johnston newcomer.  Very tricky to back one like that at 2/7.  Could have hacked up as well

fav has under performed big time..came into race rated 89 with very good recent h/cap form...if it ran to its mark the winner will be rated 100 and 2nd 95 which is a 1000/1 chance..
exactly why pre race punting is very difficult.

Just embarrassing how little most know , that’s why I laugh and nearly fell off my bed when magic dabs stated u don’t need speed figures to win , that’s what one expects from An amiture gambler I guess !   Last two runs from fav by a neck by pretty jewel in a class 3 h/ cap over 1m 3 f  good ground the ave time fir this track is 2m22.1 Sec  the winner clocked a piltory 2m 32 .9.  Around 11 sec slow !         It’s previous run befure that ran in a listed race bt 7 and 3/4 len. And the time was son 7 sec slower than standard  ,  the super big wigs seam to think because a horse rubs on a certain class of race it’s a better quality horse ! Not if these races were run in snails times it’s not  fir these dis it’s aroubd 5 len per Sec on fastish ground so it ran some 50 len below the standard time fir that race ! In the listed was over 37 len slow both races very very poor speed ratings ,  too many punters looking at class droppers instead of getting an accurate quality of said races that’s where the clock comes into play with out it your doomed in this game amigos !
