Incredibly poor there

Has been riding like that for years.

Shown up again at this level.

Unfortunately, Sandown is prone to jocks getting on the front end and setting a dawdle. Hughes did it time and again. Tudhope should have been much more aware from an earlier stage. The worst position in a slowly run race is trapped in on the rail and it is even worse on a stayer. Best horse almost certainly finished second.
