Terrible coverage....no wonder are losing it
Report GEORGE.B July 1, 2018 2:33 PM BST
seemed the winner drifted left under pressure, broadsided one horse, who in turn hampered the eventual second.

correct george. But the 2nd was giving a bit back but not to the winner. Could be argued the winner should lose it. No stewards an absolute jock. I didn't bet on the photo when I knew the nearside had won.

166B Westgrove Hotel H'cap
The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the final furlong and a half involving Beach Bar, ridden by W.M. Lordan, unplaced, War Hero, ridden by S.P. Davis, unplaced, Ice Cold In Alex, ridden by S. Foley, placed sixth, Korbous, ridden by Y. Nonaka, unplaced, Kailee, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed second and Red Avenger (USA), ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed first, where it appeared that Kailee and Ice Cold in Alex were tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference caused did not effect the Judge's placings, and they therefore made no alteration. The Stewards did, however, consider C.D. Hayes to be in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his particularly good record in this regard, suspended him for 1 raceday.
