THE ENGLAND V BELGIUM SPECIALS AT 188BET CONFINED NOVICE STAKES (CLASS 5) (No more than four

Charles Bishop, who had been declared to ride YAA MOUS, trained by Mike Murphy, had refused to ride
after weighing out. The rider and the trainer’s representative were interviewed. Bishop explained that he
had been warned by the representative, prior to mounting, that the filly was cold backed and when she
plunged forward after he was legged up, causing him to fall off, he deemed she was unsafe for him to ride.
His explanation was accepted and permission was given for David Egan to be substituted.
