Never asked for an effort, a ride where the stewards would be entitled to ask questions relating to obtaining the best placing. Even more so when the stable supposed second string wins well. I also wondered at one point whether the saddle had slipped such was the jockeys position throughout.

Thought I was the only one to see it this way. Made zero effort. He can't have been injured given he was not dismounted and allowed to roll home. Disgraceful ride imho

When the saddle slips they lose control of the horse, instead he throttled it all the way up the straight. You've seen on occasions jockeys still do their best when the tack goes but this wrong un just restrained it.
