Young people don't bet on horse racing as a rule. Unless they are on a "day out". So the stay at home audience is considered fair game for funeral services.

Not just ATR. Try watching ITV any afternoon. If it isn't rip-off funeral plans ( at least they don't feature Michael Parkinson any more ) it is stairlifts or comfy chairs for wrinklies.) They know how to target the right viewers.

Quite ironic really wonder if ATR have taken 1 out for when irish Racing moves to RUK.

Maybe It's  Racing UK that should take one out ,although I think funeral plans are a very poor invest and reckon a lot of peeps that get dementia etc and end up in homes with little family around prob never see a penny from them ,watching Irish racing regularly prob brings dementia on early as well .
