after the race , the jockey is throwing water over the horse ,, after being unsaddled, you would think they would have someone else attending to that ,, only the stable lass present , and she was holding the horse.

At Cartmel in v hot weather they have a large tent with big fans and running water - which they walk the horses through before & after a race - so they cool them down with what is really a cold shower spray - just a small track but never seen anything as useful at any other
