Yes remember the excitement of seeing "C. Von Der Recke" on the race card many years ago. Unfortunately my "Spidey Senses" no longer tingle...!!!

The main reason he brought horses over was to sell them after they had won or gone close.

I seem to remember that on the old horse racing news group him being referred to as 'Count'
He used to place his horses well over here.
I looked at his web site last night and he still seems to train a lot of horses.
